First, Preparation and material inspection

1. Raw material preparation  : Choose high-quality logs, usually pine, poplar and so on.

2. Rotary cutting or planing  : Processing the log into a veneer of uniform thickness. Rotary cutting is to rotate the log along its length direction and cut it into continuous slices by the tool; Planing is the process of fixing a log and cutting it into single pieces with a planer knife.

3. Drying: The cut veneer is dried to reduce the moisture content and improve the bonding performance.

4. Defect repair : Repair the board after drying to remove or repair defects such as knots and cracks.

5. Gluing : The surface of the veneer is evenly coated with adhesive, commonly used adhesives include phenolic resin glue and urea formaldehyde glue.

6.  billet  : The coated veneer is stacked together in a certain order and direction. Usually, the fiber direction of the veneer is arranged in parallel, which can increase strength and stability.

7.  Hot pressing  : The group of blank into the hot press, pressing under high temperature and high pressure, so that the adhesive curing, the single board bonded together to form the whole sheet.

8. Cooling and trimming  : After pressing is completed, the sheet is cooled and its edges are trimmed to achieve the required size and shape.

9. Post-treatment  : According to needs, the plate is sanded, coated, anti-corrosion treatment, etc., to improve its appearance and performance.

10.  Quality inspection  : Quality inspection of the finished product to ensure that it meets the relevant standards and specifications.
